Future Ape Hybrid experiment - Artificial Intelligence

Here’s an assignment from the Aaron Sims Creative "Sketch-2-screen" Masterclass I attended in March. It was an incredible workshop to learn their particular Sketch 2 Screen workflow when working on film/tv & short films.

For this assignment, the prompt was to create an “Artificial Intelligence” character. So I chose to put this creature in the context of the story, ‘The Island of Dr. Moreau’ where one of the doctors experiments leads to developing artificial intelligence with animal human hybrids. From there, you can jump off all kinds of different directions for the story to go. If you notice the face sculpt, it’s one of the previous sculpts I did including some tech elements, while incorporating it into an existing ‘film plate’ well in this case, tv plate.
